Testimonials from parents of children attending Amazing Beginnings Montessori Child Care Center.
Dear Jacki,
My daughter started preschool when she was 34 months old. One significant difference it made in her development was independence. She started to play by herself with toys, instead of bugging Mom for everything. And I encourage the creativity and growth that comes along with the pretend and story-making that she does. It is amazing to see how everyday school work helped her ability to write and draw pictures gradually and significantly. I am pleased to see my daughter enjoying the school (especially making friends part) so much. Teachers are very friendly, thoughtful, and dependable, which gives us a sense of security. I believe my daughter is in good hands in this developmentally critical stage of life, and I think you will agree if your child joins the Amazing Beginnings. Dear Jacki,
I was over the top excited when I found out that Inver Grove had a Montessori option for child care. With Montessori daughter Olivia not only gets a tremendous educational start, but she gets the social/emotional benefit from a caring and nurturing staff as well.
Olivia loves school and I feel safe and secure leaving her in such good care. Ms. Ann, Ms. Jacki, Ms. Helena and Ms. Colleen are by far some of the best teachers and staff I have ever worked with.
I am en employee at Inver Grove Community Schools and would recommend Amazing Beginnings to any of my Co-workers, friends or family. They do a wonderful job.

Dear Ann,
I’m so glad Amazing Beginnings opened their school in my community. I initially enrolled my 3 year old twins in a Montessori preschool which they did well in. But it closed after only a few months. They then attended a traditional preschool for a year. But for my “spirited” children who had not before been in a daycare or other structured environment, it was very difficult and stressful for them. Now at Amazing Beginnings, they LOVE school and ask me often if they can “get to” go to school tomorrow!
The teachers have been wonderful and easy to talk to, understanding and accommodating. They are very positive with the children. The activities are age-appropriate, not expecting more than I believe a preschooler can comfortably follow through on. I love the flexibility the school offers too, with options for 2-3 days per week or half days. I didn’t want to enroll my children in a full time school at such a young age, and it is difficult to find part-time options that would allow me to work part-time.
Academically, I can be sure that my kids are not bored. In their traditional school, my children already knew nearly all the numbers , shapes, colors, etc. that the class was studying. Now I know they are challenged and are interested in trying to sound out words to read! One of my twins who previously did not enjoy coloring, now LOVES drawing and is able to patiently color inside the lines of a coloring sheet only 3 months after beginning school at Amazing Beginnings. A change I never expected. We are so pleased with Amazing Beginnings Daycare that we are considering keeping our twins in the program through kindergarten.
