At Amazing Beginnings our mission is very simple:

To guide and encourage children toward their full potential. We will do this by providing a stimulating, loving environment in which they can flourish and grow, discovering the light within them.  We call this light intelligence, so that they may confidently step into the world and become all that they can be, simply because they spent their preschool years at Amazing Beginnings Montessori.

Ann Gilman, Administrator

As the Administrator of Amazing Beginnings Montessori,  I am so proud to be a part of the Montessori method of education.  My goal is to provide each child that attends  Amazing Beginnings Montessori the best pre-school experience they can have in a safe and loving environment that will make a positive difference in their lives.

As a child growing up in Sri-Lanka,  I attended Montessori school and still remember some of my favorite Montessori activities.  All my siblings attended Montessori schools in Sri-Lanka and they went on to  pursue higher studies.  So I experienced first hand the power a Montessori preschool program can have on the lives of children.  And now I have the opportunity to share this same tradition with others. Ms. Caitlin, Toddler Teacher

Hi! My name is Caitlin Walters.  I have one sister and one brother.  For high school I attended Cretin-Derham Hall and thereafter went on to Saint Mary’s University where I majored in Public Relations and minored in English.  After college I worked in the hospitality industry at the Grand Hotel in Minneapolis and for the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, CA.  While in California I worked for two years in a Montessori school in Newport Beach.  I found that I have a passion for teaching children.  I think it comes from my mother being a pediatrician.  I have always been happy when I spend time with children.  I have been with Eagan Montessori for almost two years and have worked in the preschool room, Toddler room and the infant room.  I enjoyed each age group and gained lots of experience dealing with children in different situations.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and your children. I know I will enjoy working at Amazing Beginnings as it is the sister school of Eagan Montessori.

P.S. Ms. Caitlinâ’s mother, Dr. Paula Kelly has written two books that may be helpful to you:
